Absolutely, but only with your approval! Every client featured on my blog has provided written permission for their images to be posted. If you prefer not to have your images shared, that’s perfectly alright! At the end of each image premiere/order appointment, a model release form is presented. I only share images if the client consents. There is absolutely no pressure to sign a model release, and I will never share your images without your written consent.
People come in all different shapes and sizes, tall, short, large and small. There is nothing anywhere to say that one is better than the other. Having confidence and believing in yourself is what makes fantastic pictures. The glamour & boudoir sessions are all about having fun, getting glammed up, dressed up and letting your hair down and forgetting about little insecurities. Treating yourself to new lingerie and beauty treatments before the session is a definite excitement and confidence builder!
Feel free to bring your own music, but try to choose slow, seductive, and romantic tunes. Unlike high-energy fashion shoots with fast-tempo techno, glamour and boudoir photography is about slowing down, feeling sexy, and projecting that vibe for the camera. The right music, whether yours or ours, will help set the mood for great photos.
You must bring your own lingerie and clothing to your photography session. Choose items that make you feel comfortable and beautiful. When you wear something you feel great in, you’re more likely to look and feel confident. I recommend bringing more outfits than you think you’ll need in case you decide to change at the last minute. For lingerie ideas, download my Dream Shoot Planner, which includes a list of my favorite stores with fantastic lingerie options.
You can buy a variety of pieces, wear a few for your shoot, and return the rest. Remember, you’re not limited to just lingerie. Your man’s dress shirt, a sexy black dress, camisoles, sports jerseys, and fitted tees can be modest yet still sexy. Please bring at least one supportive push-up bra, lace undies, and a great pair of pumps! Hosiery, garter belts, and statement jewelry add extra allure.
If you’re giving your images as a gift, feel free to bring items with sentimental value or special meaning to incorporate into your session.
During your session, only Angela and a professional makeup artist will be present in the private studio.
We encourage you to share this pampering session and photo shoot with a sister, daughter, mom, or best friend. If you prefer to have a friend or family member present during your session, please bring a female chaperone, as we operate a “female-only” studio. However, results tend to be better when the client is alone, relaxed, and fully focused on posing and the experience, without the distraction of ensuring their chaperone is not bored. If the person you bring is also getting hair, makeup, and a photo shoot, they will not be a distraction to you.
Sorry, I don’t offer couples sessions at this time. I operate a studio exclusively for women, specializing in photographing women.
Sessions are booked via phone. After you inform me of your desired shooting date and I confirm its availability, I will take your session fee payment over the phone using a credit card. We will then schedule a phone consultation to discuss the session details and determine the best wardrobe options for you. Following this, you will receive an informational email to assist you in preparing for your dream shoot!
Certainly. Following your photography session, I invite you back to the studio 2-3 weeks later to view your images and explore product options such as books, albums, prints, and folio boxes. Your order will be selected and paid for in full during your viewing appointment. Please note, product orders will not be released without full payment.
Our studio is located at 647 Hill Road, Pickerington, OH 43147. It’s situated a bit off the main road, directly behind Mount Carmel Pickerington Medical Complex. To get there, turn at the intersection of Hill Road and Commerce Drive. Once on Commerce Drive, you’ll find our two-story brick building in the large open field on your left.
Alternatively, you can enter the Medical Complex parking lot and proceed to the back, where our parking lot connects with theirs.
